The Sky is so much better looking than the Solstice. If the Sky gets the Soltice GXP engine package, it's gonna hand the Solstice its a5s in sales.

I dont know, I LOVE them both, and they are both beautiful cars, but I think would pick the solstice if I had the choice.

I think this it's pretty much a given that we can expect a Sky "Red Line" with the turbo.

But what are the production plans for the model mix? I would guess Solstice will remain the higher production model with the Sky and Opel GT being more limited.

Re: saturn sky production photos

These two cars are a PERFECT example of what GM needs to do with every other car twins sharing a platform. The car is essentially the same regardless of the badge, but BOTH are polarizing with regards to styling. Those that like the crisp edgy lines fall in love with the Sky, those that like the soft curvey lines, go gaga over the Solstice.

End result? WIN-WIN for GM.

Now... why can't they do this with their other cars again???

That Yellow Sky with the rear spoiler is pretty HOT! I'd LOVE to see a black one with chrome wheels and the red leather accents in the interior

Re: saturn sky production photos

Will any SMG type trans be available in the redline? What about a simple automatic?

Re: saturn sky production photos

no one knows for sure. basically everything people on the saturn forums know about the sky redline is that it'll be basically the same drivetrain as the opel roadster, 260hp turbo with manual gearbox.

the first pre-production sky redlines are rumored to come off the assembly line in mid summer and a possible release late summer or early fall, so says the saturnfans rumor mill.
