Saturn Astra
Of all the info avail. on everything else the Astra seems to still be complete mystery . Ive read its gonna be built in in the UK and imported here , Ive read its gonna be built in spring hill to de-contented to save costs . Ive read its gonna use UK powertrains , and in the next article u read it says it will use the US delta powertrains . The more I read about it , it looks like some of the more unique Astra options will not be apart of the US version .
The Astra's being introduced on the 7th in Chicago ...looks like itll have to wait till then .

140hp DOHC VVT Ecotec. Im glad they are keeping the interior Euro-spec. I hope that an RL version is launched late next year...cause its about time to give up the Maxx, and I need something to drive till its Camaro time.
This is pretty amazing, a quote from the gm source website
"The Astra will go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year. It is the fifth product in a complete revamp of Saturn’s product lineup. In fact, when the Astra hits showrooms, the “oldest” vehicle in Saturn’s portfolio will be the Sky roadster, which debuted in March 2006."
