Saab 9-2x

Will there eventually be a sedan version of the car?

Nope, just hatchback. It fits Saab very well IMO. Maybe when the redesign comes back out, its a possiblity, but right now its just hatch.

From what I've read, it seems only a hatch version because it was decided that a hatch-only fits the SAAB image better because of their history of hatchbacks.

Yes. It's called the Subaru WRX.

When's the Saab 9x slated to hit then? What price will that start at?

I want a sports car that will have AWD and turbo, but isn't cheap with the luxuries.

in that case you might want to look at an Audi.

1. The wagon version is the ugliest Impreza. It has a narrow body- without the fender flares - on the WRX sedan. As the doofiest Subaru, it's the most appropriate one to get Saabified.

2. The Saab 9-2X lacks stability control, something that's out of keeping with the near-luxury class.

3. After trying all these years to eradicate turbo lag, it's great to see Saab offering on of the most lag prone engines on the market. The 2.0 liter WRX motor is an old school turbo, which is just fine for people that like old school turbo lag...

My advice to potential Saab 9-2X buyers is to get a clue, and buy Volvo's new S40 T-5. It's a better deal (and perhaps a better car) than the S60 T-5, which is a good deal for the consumer.
