Wouldn't this be sold through dealers like the Ford Roush and Saleen products?

They are, but as a Roush/Saleen vehicle. Not Ford. They go through CARB, but are not (to the best of my knowledge) under the CAFE umbrella.

Here's another way to skin the cat: dealer installed options...

The 6.0L in any 1500 is stupid IMO. The 5.3L has enough power for the applications of these trucks.

Don't like the hood. Looks like the hump is held on with 3M tape.

This truck was first seen on this board in this thread: https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...oush+Silverado

The picture was deleted but he sent it here: http://jalopnik.com/cars/chevrolet/a...ado-295989.php.

The cowl should be molded in with the hood rather than looking taped on, needs to be a single cab, gfx should go all around the truck, although that may be the case in the production version

I would rather GM make this: Silverado 427 SS Concept

i remember seeing that pic before. I was originally going to say maybe they were testing for cooling or something so they just put the front bumber on, but that old concept didnt have anything special on the back or sides either.
