Honda's truck. Is it midsize or a full size truck? Seems the Avalanche is a trend setter

It's either a really big Subaru Baja or a slighty shrunken Avalanche. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say that it's a slightly more adequate version of the Explorer Sport-Trac theme.

Still, has one of these "SUV with a pickup bed" vehicles ever hit it big. I mean, the Baja is effectively dead, the Avalanche was never very hot, the Sport-Trac barely sold....

 

What are the sales numbers of the Avalanche/Escalade derivative? I see plenty of both around here.

As for Sport Trac/Baja. I think I see maybe 2 Sport Tracs a week. I've seen one Baja.

 

I saw it at the Detroit auto show. Id say its Avalanche sized:

It is an FWD/AWD minivan with the back cut off and a more truck like front end. Think Chevy Uplander with a bed.

 

Its no where near Avalanche sized! Its built off the Oddesy/Pilot/MDX chassis.
