Anyone placing bets as to when Honda will kill off Ridgeline?

I'm saying 18 months.

For those who don't notice the date on the article, this is not a cut in addition to the one posted a few days back... this is a post about the same cut.

I say never unless it is replaced by another truck. The last thing Honda wants to do is bust into the truck market and then withdraw entirely. That'll make them lose credibility in the market.. ya know, kind of like tucking tail?

I agree. The Japanese manufacturers are not one to give up easily. They'll go back, figure out what they did wrong, and improve their product until they get it right. Look how many kicks at the can Toyota took with their full-size trucks. I wouldn't count Honda out.

I agree, they will just sell in small volumes until that generation of the platform is done. But I wouldn't be suprised if there isn't a Gen 2 Ridgeline. I could see them maybe doing an XUV thing then, or if gas is still high, or higher they might move on to what ever niche is hot at the time.

Hopefully Toyota will keep kicking. Most peoples' opinion of the new Tundra was ho-hum. Let's hope the domestics keep their eye on the ball as far as quality goes and keep Toyota and Nissan Trucks at bay. I know it's been talked about in another thread but Dodge looks like they got the styling right with the Rampage concept, but FWD, WTF? Can't say the Ridgline is good looking, at least from the front. I think that's where they missed the mark. The Dodge has an agressive look. Trucks need to look agressive, masciline.
