I had read throgh a good bit of that thread. I even stopped by his website and read his so called editorials...One wonders how he has the time to sell cars.

It's just the same 'ol thing over and over again. That must be the same method he uses to sell cars. Wear 'em down till they agree with you, even if it's just to stop the insanity. Most of the folks that do agree are just hearing about the...dare I say it? "Plan" They have no idea how long he's been pushing it or the arguments against it.

The sad thing is, BM could have been an assest to boards, and point out to us what the dealers are facing when it comes to moving the product and their relationship with GM. But after six months, BM has not educated us at that level. Instead... well you know.

BTW - from his last post on C&G, it appears he is going to the powder room as far as the boards are concerned. We shall see.

I felt his plans had some merit, and I gave him a huge benefit of doubt. I took him up on his offer to accept input for the purpose of improving his plans. But the guy's a salesman's version of "Rainman" ("...five minutes to Wopner...five minutes to Wopner...") and you can't get him to improve his plan, or even accept that his plan could be part of a new GM.

He feels his is the ONLY way. He finally lost me when he said product wasn't the problem, and there's nothing wrong with Buick. I stayed on his mailing list till recently because I eventially got irritated of the downright silly daily anti-Wagoner garbage. It's so painfully obvious that it's personal, it just turns me completely off.

Anyone who thinks I'm exaggerating, sign up for his news letters.

I did at first, then like you I got tired of the same old crap. So I unsubscribed. If he'd get of the "Wags" comments he'd be more credible. Also quit touting every 5 seconds that hes #1 in sales in his area.

Good job there, BTW! Few would have the ability or endurance to argue with what could be refered to as "a wall" and be the last man standing.

[EDIT] Looks like I spoke too soon....

Re: Rick Wagoner on GM and their future.....

To be honest, I didn't read his plan. I don't care to. I don't know what it will take to fix GM, and I don't pretend that I will know.

The one thing that was always a joke to me was why he was here, pitching his anti Wagoner plans to us, and not to pitching it to those that could make real change within GM. I'm sure he isn't unintelligent, and I am convinced he is passionate about GM. BUT, I would assume if he was truly as smart, as talented, and was as passionate about GM as he claimed to be, then he'd have no problems getting a job at the GM Headquarters. There he could push his plans in the environment that would be able to take them and make them blossom (or atleast speak with those that could help him refine his plans). I don't see what pitching his "Return To Greatness" was going to do on a Internet Forum made of of Camaro enthusiasts?

Guy, just looked at his last post over there. Though, I have no plans on responding to him , in all seriousness, I do not think BM is mentally stable. His response to you was just uncalled for.

I just hope he goes away for good.
