Zeta is made to use the new 6spd auto. The 6spd auto was in the Velite concept. I belive the first concept to use the 6spd auto.

Yea!!!! Thats just the kinda thing you would find in a WS6/Formula/trans am ypu guys wanted it to be more Pontiac and now the aGTO has a bit of Cheap interior plastic!

Someone from another site, I think it was Newagegto, said that the automatic version would be faster than the manual. Think he just read wrong, or what?

Simply amazing. Two holes are put in the hood and the same rear bumper from the SEMA GTO is put on the back and people here are flipping out as though a new car has been produced.
I'm glad the hood is optional: I would order one without it. I don't think flows with the lines of the car.

I honestly don't know what's so hard to understand that those who like the scoops do so simply because EVERY OTHER Pontiac GTO had them. It's not that we're that easy to please....but call it a GTO and you'd better make sure it looks like one.
And if those of you who like it without scoops...what's stopping you from buying one now?

I understand the desire for scoops from a heritage point of view. What I was commenting about is that some of the replies here make it seem as thought the GTO was radically changed. When the GTO was first shown, it had mixed reviews from members here, some liking it and some not. Now it seems nearly unanimous here that the car looks "sex[y]." But only the hood changed! So therefore the same side lines of the car and the same rear lines plus one exhaust outlet were ugly before but now look sexy? The responses just make it seem like the car went from looking like the Scion xB to a Ferrari Modena with two holes in the hood, that's all.
I loved the looks of the WS6 but the scoops flowed with the lines of the car. I feel as though these scoops look too much like an afterthought.
I don't like the scoops and I am not buying one now because I'm a 20 year old senior in college.

Says that 0-60 in 4.6 seconds with automatic and 4.8 seconds with 6-speed

Its basically the same thing but the hood revisal, which is known for the next model year...The new engine will sell the next GTO

. Only thing that annoys me is that now we loose bootspace and get a smaller fuel tank.
Will the GTO get the 18inch wheels as well?
