Wouldn't be a bad idea. I'm shocked at how small my 01 is compared to the current generation of full sized trucks.

I personally think the Canyon/Colorado was a size-up from the old S-10.
I don't know how the mfg classifies them (mid-size or compact).

Seemed like the right thing to do until gas broke $4/gal, huh?

Lets take a look--heres what I pulled off the Net. All are comparing reg cabs VS reg cabs (short-boxes)

Width
S-10 = 67.9 in

Colorado= 67.6

Length
S10 = 188.8

Colorado 192.4

Wheelbase


S-10 = 108.3

Colorado

111.4

So it grew a few inches here and there---its still a faitly small truck with a small interior. No where near the midsized Dakota.

I never said it wasn't bigger but---it barely is

Don't go make me look that up!
