Re: retractable hardtop C6
Would be nice if it were a factory option even though it is a more expensive/heavy option when compared to soft-tops. I'd prefer the hardtop for looks personally since i hate soft-top convertibles with the top up.
Kinda funny how GM has a retractable hardtop on their sub-30k G6, but the c6 doesn't even come standard with a power soft top (manual is standard). And unless i'm wrong, all c5 convertible had manual soft tops with no power option. I know the manual top saves some weight (those really concerned with weight shouldn't be looking at convertible), but it is a 50+k dollar flagship car. A power soft-top should be standard. The whole manual top thing was a surprise to me.
