Hmm, looking at the pics, it appears you probably want ot be out of the car when you flip the switch? else it may bonk you in the head?

Would be nice if it were a factory option even though it is a more expensive/heavy option when compared to soft-tops. I'd prefer the hardtop for looks personally since i hate soft-top convertibles with the top up.

Kinda funny how GM has a retractable hardtop on their sub-30k G6, but the c6 doesn't even come standard with a power soft top (manual is standard). And unless i'm wrong, all c5 convertible had manual soft tops with no power option. I know the manual top saves some weight (those really concerned with weight shouldn't be looking at convertible), but it is a 50+k dollar flagship car. A power soft-top should be standard. The whole manual top thing was a surprise to me.
