Exclamation WOW! Some Chevy's I didn't know of!

Go to Chevy worldwide sites and check some of the neat combos out there. Just to name a few; Some shockers were a Chevy Forester. Just like the Subaru, but a Chevy! The Chevy Omega, nothing new there, but gets some of the cool stuff like dual zone climate and sunroof that we don't get on the Goat. Lots of Daewoo's rebadged, but that's expected. Lumina SS's have a 5 speed manual instead of a six. Neat unibody truck/car crossovers like the Holden Ute, but more jacked up and bigger bodywork.

Neat stuff. Nothing out of this world, but I figured enthusiasts would like to check these out. I don't want to hear GM say how we can't get these RWD cars here in the US when it seems like every tiny country gets them... it irritates me. Too bad federalization waters down the cool stuff for us.

Yeah, its pretty well known about GM's other cars that they hold back from us, while we get fantastic cars like the Ion, Aztek/Buick cousin, etc...
VERY upsetting, but thanks to Globalization and platform sharring, I hope we see more cool cars come from Opel and Holden here.

Yeah. Nice cars. Just like Chevy Niva, for example.

That's always p!ssed me off. GM gives us all the great cars like LeSabres, Park Aves, Century's, Cavilers/Sunfires, Ions, S-series, L-series(it was an Opel, but dumbed down for our market), Impalas, Intrigues, Grand Ams, Malibus.

Now Australia and every other dinky little country gets V8 RWD perfomnce oriented, luxurious sedans, coupes, and funky El Caminos. Not only are these cars superior from a fun to drive standpoint, they have nicer interiors, and are better engineered and built.

And GM wonders why its market share is shrinking.

So the Chevy Forester. Is that a domestic or import? Where does the money go on that one? Where's the guy that started the whole domestic thread for a few days ago?
