Report: "GM working on a faithful recreation of a '67 Impala"
Re: Report: "GM working on a faithful recreation of a '67 Impala"
Really, going anywhere except this current "import/Honda" theme that they seem to be using is a good thing IMO.
I think it will be a knockout personally. I hold high hopes for GM Design. After the Cadillac revival, the Corvette and Camaro, and Saturn's redesigns...I think it will turn out to be pretty good looking.

Oh yeah! This is what I've always thought GM needed...Modern looking cars with proportions and STYLE like the 50s and 60s cars had.
The new Camaro executed this perfectly. This is the way to get America excited about American cars again!!

Can we please finally rid these boards of him? His drivel is so immature, tiresome and ill-informed.
Anyhow, if Ed Welburn is shouting things like "Oh my god!" in the design studios, I think that can only be a good thing. Of course the day he shouts this is a negative fashion ("Oh my god its awful!") it's time for the designers to regroup or be replaced.

Heck, even in your infamous Saturn Outlook thread... on your own site... before it was deleted........... you were flaming people who questioned you.

Re: Report: "GM working on a faithful recreation of a '67 Impala"
Guys lets keep this a Impala thread not a bas Josh thread, OK?
Edit: I thought the next Impala would carry 63 Imapala themes, wasn't there an article about 2 weeks ago saying something similar to that?

This is the second one in the last few days. First CD/DP and now AH-HA.

Darth you are more mature than this, please act like it. BTW I am not defending him or his actions I am simply saying that it is not your call to moderate other's actions.

club) but I like all the 1960's Impalas. (I know that might surprise some here
)My brother had a maroon 64 Impala SS coupe with white interior, bucket seats, AC, powerglide with console shifter, cruise control, 327 with 'fuelie' heads... man that car was nice!
