Remember the "05 GT is Delayed" thread(s)?

...and how a few folks could barely hide their excitement that Ford might have screwed something up?

Sorry to disappoint.

GT in CO

GT in NC

GTs in CA

I know most folks here are and enthusiasts, and welcome, or at least accept that Mustang needs to do well for the health of our hobby.

I really want to see one on the road... some cars really have a different look on the road, compared to being up on a display stand at an autoshow.

They're all over. Owner pics on the Mustang sites. One need only go and look. Some people just wouldn't believe me that they were shipping a while back.

I hope they delay the Mustang forever. They are cheap "production" cars not sports cars.

I haven't seen any around here, on the road or at a dealership and I pass 2 Ford dealerships everyday on my commute.

And the F-body or Fox body Mustangs were, what, pricey exotics? If the new Mustang is "cheap" to you, the old one must have been...*eh, what is cheaper than "cheap"*...free?

What is a "production" car? Ferraris are production cars, unless you count their F1 effort. And even then, those cars are "produced"...

Let the price gouging begin!
These foolish people must not have heard about the many dealers selling '05 Mustangs for well below MSRP.

Man that is just insane!! When I called the dealer here in BG the GT with a 5 speed & cloth interior was 25K and the 1st one they sold was a GT auto with leather was 27K. I didnt ask what the options on both were but the ones on ebay are ridiculous..
