cut and paste..but from my thread on the Aus site..does the pics kinda give you a sense of what a GTO will be?? the blue one from the mag?thats the one IM talking about..what ya think? is it real or photoshop????? there has to be shakedowns of it somewhere..

is this new or not, in the AUS for USA article it says by the end of the decade holden will export 30 % of its production.it also says they will bring the ute,lw8 and sedan. is this old news? i thought that they wernt bringing the utes/sedan over.

 

what i found interesting is the talk of ford maybe using the falcon chassis on the next mustang.... hmmmm

 

I wasn't told all that (Holden exporting 30% of it's production) when I was in Austraila last month, but the UTE (as ElCamino) or Statesman IS comming to the US within the next couple of years on limited basis (I would bet on the UTE myself).The Commodore will NOT be comming over (Impala is doing well & a supercharged V6 SS will be Chevy's performance sedan).

The changes being done in the Monaro will spill over to another vehicle. On the other side, that new Falcon is looking REAL good!.

 

I didn't like the nose on that blue GTO. Too chunky.
The silver GTO rendering is WAY better.
Hope it doesn't look like the blue one.

 

I think that the blue one is an old mock-up shot anyways ...

guionM - I think that they may be thinking of the VE model, rather than the existing ones as a possibility, as it is being built with US design specs in mind ...
