They absolutely loved the power. "your either have a ear to ear grin, or your holding on to dear life.. no in between" They showed the clips of smokeshows like for half of the review.. They thought the interior was okay, and the handling, good for a 5000 lb truck, but no where close to a sports car.. "what do you expect?"


I like Yates quotes on it.. This vehicle is absolutely nuts.. You have to sit down and think about this vehicle.. why would you actually get this? If you want this power, you can get a Vette or Viper.. Only reason its a truck cause it has a bed behind it, but its not too useful.. Its highly impractical.. its a hotrod, so thats the nature of it..

 

If memory serves correctly, he said almost the same thing, verbatim, about the Impala SS in a C&D article when that car was road tested back in 95 or 96.
