ford isn't the only car company with quality problems, even the mighty BMW has problems every now and then,it's ignorant to jump on one person's story about the cobra(on the internet of all places!!),wait and see,if 2 or 3000 snakes roll out and most have problems, then attack away.

GM had better overall quality then Ford for like the second year since god knows when and some of you Gm boys start talking like you're driving some Lexus or Toyota
. I remember reading some News article on the net and it was talking about how GM had surpassed Ford in quality for the very first time. Doesn't say much about Gm quality since both have been in the business for over 60+ years.
I'm a mustang guy, not a ford guy
. I really think they've shot themselves in the leg this past year. If they're smart they'll know not to screw this Cobra or any future model up.

I like the Bullit. And as of yet I have heard no one who regreted their purchase, or had any problems with it. Bullit will be replaced by the Mach1 late this year, so they won't be around forever.
For those interested in Mach1, it won't be around very long either. The next special edition Mustang will be the Boss Mustang (either as the final fox cars, or the first DEW cars).
As for Ford "quality", the fault rests squarely on the pennypinchers there. If you look at most of the recalls Ford has had lately, it's over bonehead, nickel & dime stuff in new introductions or redesigns that a few dollars (and in some cases just a few cents) more would have taken care of.

My Bullitt runs like a champ and is faster than the 275HP LT1 Camaro I had.
If there is anything wrong with it, let me know, because I don't have a lot to bitch about, other than perhaps a less than smooth transmission.

If it breaks, it wasn't high performance enough.

I don't think a bullit turns really many heads. The regular GT has a higher visual impact. Not to be down on the car too much but it looks like a cross between a V6 and the GT. I would think that not many people would think anything of it unless people really keep up with stuff like that.

You people in here really crack me up. Ten people have died in TWO decades of crown vics. of gas tank ruptures. You tell me any car that has not had ten gas tank ruptures in TWO decades when they are hit from behide at a 100 m.p.h. You find anything to discredit ford. shame shame.
How about the #1 seling SUV, the Ford explorer. Its killed a few ..huh? Oh yea, the tires make it flip. Firestone musta put springs in he rubber, and if it goes flat it bounces the explorer on its side. If it goes flat with Goodyears on it, it doesn't flip, PA'lease!! The only reason they were able to blame it on Firestone isbecause Ford has a ton of lobbiests to help buy votes and sway peoples opinions. If it was found that it was the explorers fault (which it obviously is) Ford would either have to fix the problem,or buy back every single explorer they ever made, and thus bankrupt the company. I love that Ford commercial where he brags about his two grandfathers Henry Ford and HARVEY FIRESTONE used to take the current president out for trips in the country in the first SUV, the model T. Billy, good job at using your "other" grandfathers good name and company as a scapegoat, and then have the nerve to mention his name in a commercial. Why don't you just dig him up and **** on him next time.
