Has anyone heard if Pontiac has decided whether or not to produce the Solstice? I thought it looked like a pretty cool little car - rear wheel drive, a nice competitor for the Miata. I know they would need to modify the Delta platform (the small car, i.e. Cavalier, Sunfire platform) to make it rear wheel drive, and that would take money and time. But I was hoping they would say something soon, since it's been almost a year since they unveiled it at the car shows.

 

Its not officially going to production YET, but GM is very close to giving it the green light. Do a search in this forum to see the latest.

 

It has all but been made official I thought? Along w/ the Bengal and Sky.

 

He announced it at Kettering University a couple weeks ago.

 

Are we going to get the Solstice in cpe and convert or will it just be the drop top. I really liked the way the cpe looked. Im not really a convert. fan.

 

They had made both a convertible and hardtop concept, so hopefully we'll get both.

 

I'm almost afraid to ask how you came up with your handle.
