it looks alright, but there's a lot of resemblance to the previous generation Civic. but even if you don't spot the Civic in this drawing, there's still the feeling of "i've seen this before".
btw, i personally would like to see the turbos left alone as a Saab exclusive (from the factory i mean). all the domestic Astra siblings would use the SC.

RE: Pursuit
Here are pictures of an Opel Astra coupe , in case anyone is wondering what it looks like:
Front
and
Rear
Anyway, I like the Pontiac Pursuit's frontend, it doesn't have the cookie-cutter frontend most sedans these days do. However, it does resemble a Honda Civic coupe, and has a Mazda Protege's rear. I hope we get it here though.

I thought the Pursuit would be simply a badge-engineered Cobalt. Seems odd to give it more Astra genes than Cobalt genes, especially for the 15,000 or so they'll sell here in a year.
Other questions based on posts in that forum:
- Why would the Cobalt be a year late to Canada? Makes no sense, unless they're going to switch over Ramos-Arizpe one year after Lordstown and continue to produce Cavaliers during that time.
- The V6 will not fit into the current J-body, even though it fit into the previous generation. I somehow doubt it will fit into the new Delta chassis either.

Ok I've kind of been out of the Cavalier and the coming Cobalt loop for a while. Cavaliers are being built in Ohio, are the new Cobalts going to be built there too, or are they being imported from Europe?
V6 and 6-speed are really good news for this car, I've missed that combo on the Cavalier when they stopped offering the 3.1V6 and a 5-speed in '95

The are constructing a huge new paint complex right now, as well as other upgrades.
Engineers have been setting up the Delta assembly new line for a while now....
