(Poll) Roll down rear windows on the 5th gen?

We haven't had a poll in a while, so how about this:

Dodge Charger is going to have 4 doors, yet look like a coupe (Dodge is even calling it a coupe).

I'm guessing this means it will have roll-down rear windows, which if it looks as much like like a coupe as Chrysler is hinting, it will be the only coupe that has them.

The next "Camaro-like" sports coupe from Chevy will be a coupe with rear side windows by all accounts. It also is probally going to come in a convertible meaning that those rear windows will have a roll-down mechinism.

Should Chevy make roll-down rear windows standard or optional on coupes as well?

Roll-down rears pretty much eliminate that claustrophobic feeling in the back seat, and I suspect (in combination with the reported larger rear seat room) would make the difference between it & the seemingly less airy back seat of the new Mustang.

I suspect it's too late in the game to make a change like this before production, but hey, who knows?

Why are they ditching the single side window formula? That was one of my fav. features!

Yes, I think the back window need to roll down. Just like the GTO in Dazed and Confused

Roll down, or at least pop out like on the 3-series BMW coupes.

I'd say roll down. Takes away the claustrophobic feeling of a closed in rear seat.

I remember being fascinated by the tiny roll down rear windows in my uncles '70 AAR cuda when I was about 5 years old...

then he side-stepped 1st and my attention was directed to hanging on for dear life

Im all for roll-down rears, but I could care less if we didnt get them at the same time.

If the car has T-Tops, I'd think a roll-down quarter window might become an issue because of the multiple seems in the glass. Especially where the T-Top, door window, and quarter window would all meet.

I am still hoping there is no quarter windows, but it seems like they will be there from what we are hearing...

Out of 35 years of Camaro, only 3 years of the car had quarter windows... I perfer the "roof hoop" look of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Gen Camaros ,and the Corvette, to quarter windowed cars, that, IMO, make them look more sedan-ish.

Thats what I'm saying! Why ditch that? It looks great! It gives the Camaro more of an exotic look.

i agree with you guys, i'd rather have the door windows and that's it
but, the t-top, quarter window, and door window don't all have to meet at one place
the t-tops can be moved further up on the door window slightly as to only have two meets- the door window and t-top, and the door window andquarter window
sort of how the 2nd gen did it, because they didn't make it meet at the edge of the glass on the door window

edit: forgot to add i would like roll down windows if we have a quarter window coming (which i assume we do)
