First thing I thought was that those pix could almost be lifted straight from 1970 .

Mine was "hey, wait, is that Foose's shop or something?"

Then I saw the LX line in the background... that's Brampton, for sure.

Oops.

Looks like it has lost a little tumblehome vs the concept, but not too bad... nice to see the retro hood design is going in to production. That thing screams "Mopar" like nothing made since the Duster went out of production. Cool.

Is that thing new? I'm kidding, but man it looks like an old muscle car for sure! Hopefully the grille will be changed slightly(less rounded and bloated looking). I'm still in love with the Camaro convertible though. If all goes well I'll have that as my next car a few years after college.

Is that really a B-pillar or just the anchoring surface for the rear windor? It sure doesn't look structural. Or does that define a B-pillar?

Those are PRE PRODUCTION Dodge Challengers (2 here) making it's way through the Bramton assembly plant (there's a 300 making it's way down a line next to it in three of the pictures), so it's essentially public unless there's some rule against taking pictures inside the plant.

Guess no roll down rear windows.

This is really disappointing. I know there will be many who say it's no big deal and it still "looks the same," but the true hardtop aspect of this car was part of its appeal to me and if you're going to go 100% retro, you might as well be authentic, you know?

There is. Bigtime. Especially in that particular room.

Of course they are pre-production. Production doesn't start until April 2008. I know where they were taken which makes it VERY against the rules. There's nothing public about it.
