Is this a pic of the next-gen Corvette?

Just as the first Transformer movie gave the general public a hint of the new Camaro, does this new Corvette concept in the Transformer sequel hint of things to come?

Naw, just the Centennial Design Concept

http://jalopnik.com/5034285/exclusiv...design-concept

There's been much speculation of late on the gleaming silver "Corvette-like" concept car spotted on the set of the new Transformers movie. Some outlets have incorrectly asserted the concept is a potential design for a next-generation C7 Corvette. They're wrong. Oh, it's a Corvette, but our well-placed sources tell us the concept, which we've revealed in an exclusive shot of the clay concept above, is GM's Corvette Centennial Design Concept. We expect to see it revealed early next year, months before it debuts on the silver screen in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.

Looks better in real life. The drawing doesn't look too good.
I bet that car hints at the next Corvette. The way that a lot of concepts hint at a production car.

To bad the C7 is delayed . The C6 is clearly competitively number one so why bother with the C7 right now. GM is doing the right thing taking their time with the C7. But this is a glimpse of the Corvette's future.

Split windows only lasted one model year because people hated them! They're only cool today because they're rare and collectible.

I thought it was due to a production problem or constraint.

You could do a search and find many posts about these pictures. The consensus is that these are not pictures of the C7.
