Are these pics of the new GMT900's It says they are 2006's? They look like the bulge hood and grill from the 2500 & 3500's but appear to be 1500's.

Those don't appear to be the GMT-900s, assuming the trucks look anything like the SUVs. They definitely don't look like the spy shots that were taken inside at GM. Those hardly look any different from the refreshed 800s. Is it possibly just a mild refresh for the last year of the 800s to boost sales and/or keep people buying the 800s even with the 900s on the way?

I thought from what I heard the SUVs will be coming out in january as 2006 models whereas the trucks will be coming out quite a bit later (still in the same year though) as 2007 models?

 

These pics are of the 06' Silverado 1500. They are adopting the look of the HD models. The new style Silverado is comming out 07' or 08' which will be after the introduction of the full size SUV's (Tahoe, Yukon, Escalde) based off that same platform, GMT 900.

 

Maybe they already moved the old Silverado 1500 specific sheetmetal tooling out to make room for the GMT900 stuff, so they are going to use the HD sheetmetal for all Silverados and Sierras for a year or two, and then phase in new stuff fo the HD's later on down the road.

 

Those are NOT GMT-900's they are the current truck with the '05 HD hood and grill for '06. The first GMT900's will be the 2007 SUVs followed by the Silverado last. Tahoe>Suburban>Avalanche>Silverado.
