Actually, I see the opposite - especially if Opel is spun off completely.

They were trying, especially with GMDAT built Chevrolets nibbling at the lower end.

But it's not so easy in the land of Audi, MB and BMW.

Opel has enough to worry about competing with VW.


Anyway, depending on how things go, I can see some VERY interesting possibilities here ------ for Chevy and Cadillac.
