Oh no!

Two people emailed this to me this morning. I hope everyone is OK, but if you love vintage road race Z/28's, Corvettes, Cobras, Boss Mustangs, Firebirds, Jags, etc........you will want to cry.

BTW, this was a Road America this month.

Re: Oh no!

I only clicked on the blk & rd Vette, that was all I could stand. Not a good way to start the day!

Re: Oh no!

That is why they don't put damage in Gran Turismo! Not a pretty sight.

In all seriousness, I hope no one was critically injured.

I had read on the local (chicago) SCCA board that one of the Vettes rammed into the rear of a much slower moving car and that started a chain reaction.

Re: Oh no!

Actualy..long story > short...the flag man didn't wave the starting green due to a ragged lineup formation and the front rows slowed up considerably....instead of just taking another lap at speed....the rear rows anticipated a start and ran over the front rows....

Only injuries I heard of were a broken arm....and depleted wallets.

Re: Oh no!

That's like this movie I saw where this guy steals cars, and he has to steal them by a certain time, and the police chase him in trans-ams while he is driving a 69 mustang.

What chrushed me in the movie is that they had this beautiful 69 red dodge charger.

AND THEY STUCK IT IN A METAL GRINDER!!!! AND IT WAS ALL REAL

What was brutal was a red 69 dodge charger is my dad's dream car.
You should of seen the look on his face when that car went into the grinder...

Re: Oh no!

Thats horrible, I always hate seeing beautiful muscle cars trashed. Hopefully noone is hurt. I guess that goes to show just how important safety equipment is in cars.

Re: Oh no!

incase there is any confusion, Morginie is talking about the original gone in 60 seconds(i don't recall any chargers getting crushed in the remake, but it's been awhile since i've seen either).
