The "SS" is a new hotrod sedan prototype

This article from auto.com explains the sketches better.

For some reason I see some 2nd gen camaro in that ss concept. Maybe in the front clip there? I dunno, any thoughts on this effecting the 5th gen?

4 door, V8 sedan?! This is what I've been wanting. Shame it will most likely just be a concept vehicle

Isn't there supposed to be a 2dr with 60's styling cues? Or is this SS that car?

The journey looks like a GM attempt at the PT cruisor. I have mixed feelings about the SS, from that back side shot it doesnt look that bad, but the front?!? Needs to be toned down.

Man, that SS is ugly up front. Rear should be narrowed down a bit, too (or widened into the space that those giant fenders occupy).

How long ago was it that Motor Trend released its concept Camaro? The blue one with the SSR wheels? That's exactly what the SS concept looks like!

The front of the SS needs to look less 40s-ish. Otherwise, it's pretty sweet. Looks great from the rear.
The G6 looks F-in AWESOME. This is what the next GP should have been. Not that God awful G-force.
I hope this will be the next Grand Am.
The Cheyenne looks like a rip-off of that Dodge Maxx Cab thing they did a few years ago.
The Buick wagon might be just what they need.
Overall, I'm very impressed. Maybe GM has finally pulled their head out of their a$$.

Chevrolet SS. Wow, what an incredible car. It looks like a lot of effort was spent to get the proportions and shape just right. It's forward looking at the same time it pays homage to Chevy's past. I would love for GM to pull this off somehow. Both ends look really great, but I'm really taken with the Chevelle-esque rear valence panel.

Bravo GM!

THe SS looks VERY 2nd gennish....as if it is supposed to hint that the next Camaro could look a lot like this...but they don't want to call it a Camaro because of the whole St. THerese CAW contract issue. I'm reaching here but it fits with my theory that the plant and not poor sales is the real reason they killed the F-body off.
