As much as I'd like to replace my wife's GTP with a Regal GS down the road, the lack of AWD and my hatred of torque steer probably means I will slide her into a slightly used Limited GC at some point. Two very different cars, but both damn impressive.

Go Chrysler
Yeah they say the Cobalt doesn't have torque steer but everytime I hammer it at 50mph it trys to jerk me into the next lane, do not like. I'm pretty sure the Regal has it like you suspected. Funny my SRT-4 didn't have it, I don't get it. 2013 Charger SRT8 6.4 for me just waiting for the 2nd year after they produce it to work the bugs out and make sure the engine isn't a turd. Loving the new Challengeresque tail end on them.

Checked out the new Cruze at a dealership. VERY NICE looking car inside and out. Looks even better in person and I don't think it looks dated at all. I think this car should do very well for Chevy.

HOWEVER. I was pretty pissed when I checked out the window sticker, 45% domestic content? Seriously? So it's basically assembled here. Awesome... Engine and Transmission country of origin? Mexico. I could have sworn I read that GM revamped some US plant to build all of their 4 bangers?

Edit: Did some searching and supposedly by the end of January the engine and trans should be US sourced...
