North American Production
Ford plans to build 550,000 vehicles in the first quarter 2010, an increase of 201,000 units (58 percent) compared with the first quarter 2009.
This is really good news. Hopefully the sales numbers next year will support the increased production.

YTD
Camaro 54,100
Mustang 60,096

I'd say with the news of the 2011 Mustangs sales will drop in Dec, but I don't think there is any chance Chevy can overcome a 6,000 car deficit.....

November
Camaro 6,867
Mustang 3,627

Even so, at ~60,000 in a short year, that will be a very good number for Camaro, don't you think?

GM's supposed to have a presser at 4:30 about some significant things the board has decided (per CNBC at work here)

I'd say very good, considering no vert, z28, or really any major special edition.

Definitely better numbers than I expected. It'd be nice to see Camaro keep up the momentum through 2010 and take the sales lead from Mustang. But Mustang simply has a higher natural sales rate than Camaro, so it's going to be a matter of how long the initial rush of Camaro buyers will last.

Also with low supply, no incentives, and carrying an average $1K over sticker transaction price, its pretty damn good.

All updated....Here are the production results from GM

10,630 Camaro's produced total of 73,820 YTD
5 Corvettes
11,519 Traverse, before it shifts to another plant...these are going to be hard to find in the next couple of months.

I wonder why the SRX, Equinox, and Terrain aren't listed?

Chrysler sold 14,432 cars last month! Chevy sold 12,375 Impalas.
There were 9,787 Rams sold last month, down 37%

They had 4 vehicles with sales increase over last year, 2 with flat sales, 13 that were down 20% or more.

Big time! They're the ones to watch out for. Toyota saw a nice increase, but they've been running some serious incentives (at least in my area) for almost this entire year, thousands off of basically every model.

On a good note, GM doesn't seem to be throwing money on the hoods of anything lately, again, at least in my area. You also can't find an equinox or camaro. There's also a short supply of malibus too. Most lots only have 3-5 each, that seems low to me...
