Cool! Can't wait to see how it runs with the competition....

I'll be waiting to see the Base CTS on the road with the 3 ft wing, slammed, with ground effects! You just know someone's going to do it!

Is it just me or does that CTS have a much lower cowl than the production car. The car either looks longer or MUCH lower.

I agree maybe its the pics themselves. Some of them are rather stretched. When I first looked at it I though it was spy shots of the 04-05 STS. Then upon further review you see it is indeed a CTS but a very very modified one. I think the different hood, front air dam, rocker panels, rear wing, and big racing wheels with a lowered stance made the car look longer.

I just looked at a pic of a stock CTS.
The front clip sheet metal of the race car is different. The hoodline falls faster than the stock car.
