In my finance class I am working on a project about mergers or acquisitions. I was thinking of doing a possible Ford/Honda merger that has been mentioned on here. Since Ford has no cash to buy Honda, and Honda would be unwilling to deal with Ford's obligations, a merger similar to the Nissan/Renault deal would probably be best. I know it was a stock swap, but other then that I can't find any details on it online. If one of the wisemen on here knows a source or is willing to share their knowledge, that would help me a whole lot. I know there are a few finance people on here as well, so feel free to share your estimates on cost savings and revenue increases as well. This has to be a very comprehensive, in depth report - the more hard numbers I can get the better. I'll also post my findings when I'm done if anybody is interested.
