A person who has actually seen a Cobalt in person will most likely not think it's styling is dull.
Re: Nissan Azeal pics.
You guys better hope that the Cobalt is turbocharged by the time this thing comes out (I know I do), this nissan has 2.5 liters vs. the cobalts 2.0, and a turbocharger. It might make for some good competition
I have nothing against the cobalt, I just like having a lot of turbocharged options

Re: Nissan Azeal pics.
Someone needs to tell these import companies that ANY kind of performance car, from a 750hp exotic to a 215hp turbo econobox, needs the shifter on the floor...Not on the damn dashboard.
Re: Nissan Azeal pics.
Could the door be ANY more forward in the cab?!?!
Good-grief... if it were any more forward, the driver would have to enter from under the hood.
Even the steering wheel is shown almost 1/2 way back in the door... so imagine where the driver's seat is and how it must be to get your **** into it.
I guess I don't mind the styling (i.e. shape of the car, lines, etc.), but I have to say that they are all starting to look the same again. A molded blob, aerodynamically designed without an eyeball's consideration in mind. The 350Z mentioned above was a good analogy - they are almost like mutant twins. The Acura, and even some Audi's look about the same from 100' away IMO.
At least our domestic automakers are putting out something DIFFERENT and unique with the 300C, Cobalt, and Mustang type of cars. Maybe that will be their salvation, separating themselves from the appliance-making imports.

Different for GM, maybe, but that's about it. At least styling wise, that is. :blah:TS

Are Mitsu and Nissan drawing up new cars in the same room?

Something tells me if this car wore a GM badge it'd be trash to you, and we'd get a great dose of "what were they thinking!!!???"...Cobalt will sell well....that is the idea isn't it? To sell cars?

Because while the Cobalt may be dull and uninteresting to you, the target market for a small car puts exotic, no, "questionable" styling at the bottom of the list. I know Civic and Corolla are wild designs!
