Is the Impala plastic hard or soft? There isn't any soft touch plastic in the Cobalt. The dash on my strippo Cobalt is the same hard plastic that my kids toys are made out of. It's nicely grained, though

 

The dash plastic is hard, but the things you actually touch on a regular basis (seats, arm rests, steering wheel, shifter) are decent.

It's not going to make dash fondlers like Threxx happy, but normal people will be fine with it.
