Not that this is super exciting or anything, but it does look a bit more edgy (for a minivan anyway).

I was more entertained by the guy trying to zap the cameraman with deathray beams from his index finger.

Good spy shot. Nice to see the middle windows roll down, I hated that the windows didn't roll down in my parents minivans wen I was a kid. Ford Aerostars used to have a sliding middle window though.

I'm interested to see how the front fits in with that body. The rumor is it will have a 300ish grill.

The guy on the left doesn't look too happy about you getting the picture. Somehow I doubt this minivan picture is going to be as big of news on the net as the Camaro leak was.

Certainly didn't expect Chrysler's new mini vans so soon.

Now if only GM could make a minivan worth sneezing at. It's like they haven't even made a half-assed effort in the last decade. Then again considering their cars and trucks have come under some scrutiny and sell a lot more for GM, I understand they have priorities.

Speaking for my mothers experience, the Venture is as reliable as an anvil. Its also as exciting and beautiful as an anvil too, lol.

The last time they refreshed the platform was in what, 2002?

If they're going for a 2008 target, it doesn't seem too far fetched.

They would rather you buy a Lamda crossover. Minivans are a hard sell to genX & Y

Why are cars going to the "disconnected" look? Where each panel is completely separate of one another. The tail-lights are placed on one panel, and ends at the edge of that panel.

I personally would never buy a car that looks like panels were slapped on. I know this is a mini-van.. but damn. Nobody is buying minivans these days, and the design isn't really helping

Re: Next gen Chrysler minivan spyshot.

I have to say this...I cannot get over how many friggen minivans I sell. Chrysler minivans are literally the only product (besides the 300) that you have to put zero effort into selling. The vans sell themselves. I have no idea why the short-wheelbase models have a $3,500 rebate and the longs have a $4,000 rebate currently...they could knock a good $1,000 off that and still sell a ton of them.

Very different from GM, where minivans are beyond an afterthought. Its a shame, because the new GM van interiors are light-years ahead of even the nicest Town and Country...but what GM forgot is that minivan buyers don't care very much about fancy dashboards. That Stow n Go seating concept Chrysler developed sells the vans on its own...its amazing. I have people trading in Siennas and Odysseys for Town & Countrys, to my surprise...

Now if I only had a decent mid-sized car to sell My dealer rep informed me yesterday that neither the Avenger nor the Sebring will hit my lot until April '07 New Liberty for '08 though...and we sell a ton of those, too
