damn, in my opinion this is the worst looking impreza yet... I liked the bugeye and the 2 redesigns since. The coupe shown above was also nice.

I'm pretty sure that somewhere in Subaru's design center, these two cars are sitting side by side:

Count me in for the group that thinks it resembles a Focus.

Hidious, all previous iterations (except the neon looking one) were better looking. I stlll wish they would have kept the 2 door option when they redid them for the WRX intro.

I also noticed that thread was 121 pages long and had a EVO X Lancer ad at the bottom of the page!!

Wow that's bad.

I swear it's looks like a bad Korean car from the early 1990's.

If a car company is going to go retro you have to at least back to the early 1970's or late 1960's.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. I don't think it's bad looking at all. I like it better than the current Impreza, I think.

It's a definite improvement on the current "airplane" grille that Subaru was trying to define as its design language. But unfortunately it's fallen into the generic Japanese sedan abyss. I would say it's successful in that fewer buyers will avoid the car because of its styling (unlike the current generation), but it's not going to gain any either. In other words, it should hold on to its current fan base. Too bad they couldn't have come up with something to bring in more conquest buyers.

I don't see what all the fuss is about either. Subaru has never made one single cool looking car. How could you be disappointed by this car's styling? Really they just stayed true to form.

Who ever bought a Subaru for style? It's a cheap car with a turbo motor and all wheel drive. The last Subaru with style was that weird coupe with a window in a window. And they had them on the lot a yr or two old with huge discounts. I think it was called a SVC or something. A friend on mine was a manager at a Subaru store and he said most of the customers are very quirky, not your normal buyer.

And now this!!!???

Somebody needs to get fired
I agree, someone needs a firing. but the more I look at it, its growing on me. At least its not so outlandish like the previous model. I think this look will work for the tribeca though.

Can't find a GOOD postable pic right now, short on time, but it looks like they're chasing the Mazda Speed 3, but I'd take a Speed 3 anyday over this.
