I've always thought it was a very handsome car, but severely under powered for it's price tag. I don't remember the power and cost numbers for this one though to, so I can't say if I think it's worth it now.

I drove one at an auction last fall, just into the pavilion and back to the lot. I was really surpriced by the interior, it didn't do a thing for me. Nothing was bad, per say, but I didn't have the impression I was sitting in a $30K+ car.

The radio tuning feature was ultra cool though.....

I have never liked the look of that car. It still reminds me of a car make in the 1940's trying to be 1980's futuristic car design.

If that's true, IMO it's still alittle over priced.

If it is 41k, that is a bit on the high side...

Unhappy

I've always thought the Crossfire is pretty good looking, but that rear spoiler pretty much spoils it for this one...

And the price tag...

I couldn't agree more about the interior. I jumped into one at the Portland auto show, thinking "$34,000 for this isn't TOO bad", but the switch gear looked and felt like it came from a Kmart vacuumn cleaner. The AC ***** felt $10 boom box cheap. It was a big dissapointment for a company owned by MB. I have much higher hopes for my trip to check-out the GTO......

for me it was the whole interior. It just didn't feel or look like a mid-$30K car. I can't really put my finger on it. It was really nice, but I guess for that car (especially considering the beautiful exterior) the inside left me flat.

I like the GTO's interior, both on design and aesthetics. But it is a different breed aimed at different buyers.

Never liked that car. From the rear the crossfire is seriously ugly.... styling is like some chintzy 1950s buck-rogers, "world of tomorrow thing".

For 41k I'd rather have one of the upcomming stang perofrmance models. Ford's Mustang team understand how to take an old car and update it to look clean and thoroughly modern.

Is this thing (ugly IMO) going to have the performance to match the Vette-level pricetag? I'm thinking no...
