ah yes, the tC. Its probably the only "normal" Scion, and the sportback is very cool. It looks more upscale then the box or the little wagon.

Cobalt SS and Cobalt Supercharged SS will own the Scion tC.

I heard the tC was going to be $20K+ for 160HP

Its going to start at about $16.5k with a 2.4 L 160 hp 163 ft/lbs I4. It was at the LA Auto Show and it isnt a bad looking car at all. It honestly really surprised me.

From Scion.com:

Base MSRP*
Manual $16,465
Automatic $17,265

Why haggle?
Life shouldn't require haggling. So we sell our cars based on a "pure price" experience - every product and service offered by our dealers is menu-priced. You order exactly the accessories you want and skip what you don't - the price offered at your dealer's is exactly what you'll pay. No hassle. No haggle.
The Cobalt SS (non-s/c) MSRP should be about the same, but you will be able get a lower price. I'm not a fan on the no haggle, I feel like I'm getting ripped off.

Hey Toyota, Im 21. I'll tell you what's cool, dont tell me.

I hope Scion sells to the youth market as well as the Vibe and Element when GM and Honda tried to ram that down our throats as being the hip thing.

I agree. But at least it looks better than the other two Scions. I saw a Scion at work sitting on chrome 13 or 14 inch rims

are the scions gonna be hip like the pt cruiser was, now that 95% of the drivers are in their 50's. or how bout that element, everyone who drives those is a house wife or an old guy with no clue hes driving a box. Seriously when a car company tries to define a car as hip.. and say "This is what your generation will like" it seems to fail.. next up 70 year old's driving scions then it will be even more cool!

ahahah best line evar!

I would take the Cobalt over this thing. At least Chevy doesnt have 158 problems per car. I want something with quality.

from the tC article
Other competitors will be the Acura RS-X (costs more), Hyundai Tiburon (less features), Toyota Celica (hmmm...), VW GTI (again, either less features or higher price) and Chevy Cavalier (HAHAHA!! yeah right).
i guess they don't know about the Cobalt...
