New Ford Mustang Website (more instigation to GM management from me).
Hey GM, check this out:

Sure is a nice car, huh?
I'm starting to like it more & more everytime I see it.
I sure hope you come out with something to compete by the time everyone is about done with their car payments after buying one of these... say 2010 or 2011, OK?
Thank you.

Blackmail, eh?
LOL!! I like it! Cool screensaver.
Unlike some other people, I love the interior. I can't wait to see the car in person. I'd love to take one on a test drive! It's certainly one to keep an eye on.
The car is on my list, but I think a used LS1 may win out. 01-02 Formula/Trans-Am.

I have to admit, after hearing the possibility (liklihood?) of the Camaro not coming back until 2008 or even 2009 instead of 2007, which it seems should logically be able to be done....
The 2005 Mustang, even to me... the King of Anti-Retro, and someone who has owned many cars at age 31... every single one of them a GM vehicle.... is starting to look better to me.

I still think the front end looks like a pick-up, and the interior is so un-original.
2008 however, is a really looooooooooooong time. I might not be around by then. I'll keep the Z as long as I can but won't wait forever (which it already feels like I'm doing).

I hadn't noticed Mustangs were offered in that red also.

Suffice to say our loyalty should not be and cannot be taken for granted...even the hardest GM fans will go elsewhere if we are left without a product long enough.
GM should be apologizing to us profusely for not taking action earlier and causing us to have this "hiatus" in the first place.
Our beloved Camaro should not be just another broken promise, delayed debut, and overhyped dissappointment (read: SSR, Silverado SS) that GM has been feeding us lately.
I have been preaching the "just wait and see" attitude to people, knowing what GM has in the pipe, but at some point its put up or shut up time, and any delay in the next Camaro is going to be that much harder to swallow.
In the end, you have to ask what being loyal to GM has gotten you except for having your favorite 2 cars cancelled unceremoniously.

However, I think the latest crop the performance vehicles should give us all reason enough to keep the faith (solstice, Cobalt SS, CTS-V).
Faith will wander and wain however......

I really like this silver/grey one with the white stripe.
