I'm not a Ford guy, but this guy I work with just bought a new red one, and I gotta tell you, I'm Impressed! It looks pretty d@mn sexy and sporty to me..
GM needs to take a really good look at these things, b/c that low center hood look they(GM) have just don't inspre me at all. I actually liked their(GM's) previous hood/headlight treatment better. BUT, this Ford is sharp, to deny that would be to deny good taste, it's WAY better than Dodge, or Nissan etc...

the dodges fronts are messed (the dakota is alright), the fords are just bad all around to me, the nissans are...nissans, enough said
the chevys though (although i may be biased) still look good to me
the colorado is a standout and those new hd silverados look good to me with that split chrome bar thing they got going on (imo the way it should be standard on silverados)

I like the new King Ranch F-150. I'd get that over a Lincoln Mark LT or Silverado SS

I just can't get past the Full Sized Truck "Frowning" headlights, and the lines are just a little under emphasized. The STX-150 seemed to have the right proportions...to me.
The Colorado and Canyon look Great!...they should've built off that design for the Silverado, just more brawny..

Shouldn't a truck LOOK the part? Solid, Strong, and powerful....?

Dodge's front end is just TOO big and chrome and boxy for me, tho the painted fronts are better, as the SRT 10; still just too big....looks like a Mack Truck.

 

The 2003 restyle for the front end of the Silverados was an abomination. I think that they must have been trying to increase GMC sales or something.

Does anyone know when they are planning to do something about them?

Depressed look??? Take a look at the Blazer fro depressed--that thing want to kill itself.

A for the Ford---gaining 40hp is great (260hp to 300 hp 5.4L) but taking on 500lbs in the process totally defeats the gain.

 

I think the STX looks fine, but I prefer a plain old regular F150 more. And I still like the Ram better.
