New concept , rear shot ...want opinions before I color it .

I cant seem to convey on paper yet how I see the front end , soooooo , I did a rear 3/4 drawing . Feel free to make suggestions . Its just a pencil drawing and all the grid crap over the drawing is just there because it helps me to see shapes ...cuz I really blow at shading with just regular pencil

The only suggestion I really wont do , is make the car a hatchback .. the new one wont be so why even go there

Concept

That's just like the other one that looked like an Intrepid in the back. It doesn't say Camaro to me but it's good work, but I'm wondering why everyone is doing the circle rear lights now? But newayz color it and we'll see.

I think the rear fascia and tail light treatment look good.

Make sure you keep that Z/28 emblem on there.

Maybe more creased edges though?

I cankinda see the current intrepid on the back end. The circular lights are the emering Chevy styling theme. Maybe add a boly colors cap to the center of the tail lamps, have the lamps themselves be a ring of LED or neon.

You mean keep 'Z28' on there, right?

An interesting adaptation of the circle taillight theme, IMO, because the 'background' shape is kind of 3rd Gen-ish...

I still don't think I'm sold of the rear windows....

Overall, quite interetsing though.

I like it quite a bit. It is simple and well-proportioned, which is good in my book.

I like it a lot and overall I give it a

Personally though, I'd like to see less 1st gen in the rear quarter panels and side glass.

Keep up the good work

I don’t usually comment on the Concepts shown here, but I have to give you two thumbs up. I really like where this concept could go. I’d like to see a cleaned up drawing, maybe done on computer. Keep playing with it though, great start.

I definetly like the rear fascia... make it flat black and put a fairly large Z/28 emlem in the middle of it.

I definetly to the circular tailights.

I also like the hints of every generation, and how it clearly says 5th gen and not retro.

Man , do you know how hard it is to do that and still make it SAY camaro , haha . There has been so many variations of side glass design from car to car over so many years , its been really difficult to try to design something that looks "original " and still says camaro . It'll most likely change some before it done .

...neways , thanks alot for the comments .

I like it except the glass. It looks like a circle was cut in half and placed on top of the rest of the car. Much like an Audi TT. Too boulbous(sp?). It needs to be more raked , sleek, aggressive, whatever you want to call it. The rest of the car I like though.

Like the 1st Gen in the rear facia, fenders and general shape!...maybe the top(side glass) is a little out of proportion with the door skin.(..top is too chopped..not much..)

Ditch the round tail lights, too Vette..

And lose the "VW" antenna thingy...

Maybe a little more pronounced spoiler...somewhere between a 3rd Gen and a 1st Gen...

Overall, I like it, love to see it in a different medium...
