Wolfgang Bernhard, (remember him?), has taken a "consulting" job with giant Canadian based auto supplier, Magna International, fueling existing rumors that Magna will take all or part of Chrysler over.

 

Actually I think the Magna takeover was rumored a few times in the past (back when Daimler was selling at least). Perhaps they can take over the automotive ops while Cerberus gets what it was after the whole time (the financing arm).

Would that make Chrysler the Big 1 in Canada? Also have there been many Canadian owned auto companies in the past?
