Chevrolet-Well at least you like our trucks....

Super Sport-Because a sucker is born every second.

And how about a progressive ad campaign of related catch phrases:

Chevrolet-Can we still be friends?
Chevrolet-Why are you walking away?
Chevrolet-Can I call you?
Chevrolet-You're going to buy a Ford aren't you? Aren't you!?!

I know those are pessimistic, and I don't really mean them, but I see this happening all the time. It's sad when you visit a Chevy message board and everyone is talking about the new Cobra...

Here's a positive one:
Chevy- 'Objects in mirror are Fords.'

This is kinda off topic, but does anybody remember the Movie "Crazy People" with the late Dudley Moore? He plays an ad exec who ends up in a funny farm (read: mental rehab unit) trying to communcate with other patients about puting realism into advertising. Here's one example...."Take Metamucil and go to the Bathroom. Otherwise, you will get cancer and die!"

Some of the slogans are so true that reminded me of that movie.

Go ahead, rent the movie- i do not know if it is on DVD yet- and fast forward to Jaguar segment- if you dare!!!!

 

Chevrolet - Please come back!
Chevrolet - Postponing the muscle car.
Chevrolet - We'll be there, when we're damn good and ready!
Chevrolet - Go buy a Mustang until we can convince the bean counter's that the Camaro was a GOOD thing.
Chevrolet - We build great cars, just look back at the 60's.
Chevrolet - We do our best work in the concept department.
Chevrolet - From concept to..................a car that's nothing like the concept.

I know, they're all negative, but that's how they're making me feel right now. I've never felt like more of an idiot for being "brand loyal".

"Camaro - we'll let sleeping dogs lie."

"SS - cause badges are important - just ask the Japanese about their Type R."

"Chevy - you like our trucks - there is nothing else out there, is there ?
Hell, even Cadillac makes trucks now."

"Chevy - 400,000 Impalas a year can't be wrong."

"Chevy - we wish we had a GTO !"

"Chevy - bowtie + spear = BS ! uh, wait, that didn't come out right."
