its to hard to judge a cars vaule in 15-30 years from now becuase its all based on how much people want them.

the fact that the car had a ton of problems has no real effect on its future value. as much as a love corvettes they are plages with problems through most models and some have extremly long production runs the c3 68-82.

your logic make sence but at the same time i feel that who knows what will happend or what people will be doing in 15-30 years from now or trends will be.
You're right in that a car's quality may have little to do with collectability. Anything that whittles down the number on the road enhances it's value.

Also, crazes do suddenly happen. If someone made a great blockbuster movie where the 4th gen Camaro had a role almost equal with the actors and the story, it would likely suddenly be in demand.

But using history as a guide (it's the most dependable crystal ball around), it's going to be quite awhile before 4th gen Camaros become valuable on the market. Even with the 5th gen coming on the market.

let's say GM never stopped production of the camaro. the prices of 00-02's would be less than they are now b/c there would always be that newer model. if the new camaro holds true enough to the camaro name i think it'll drive the demand on 4th gen's down thus reducing prices. however, a seven year gap is hard to compensate for, it kinda feels like they skipped a gen, so its effect may not be as potent.
