New C6 spy pics?
This has to be some sort of body disguise. Are they kidding me w/ those Geo Storm Doorhandles? And look a gap at the top of the hood to the windsheild, and how it doesn't fit up to the front fenders at the back.
I hope these aren't betas, if so, aren't those supposed to use pretty much production quality parts?

I really am beginning to wonder if we aren't looking at some kind of disguise or half-completed car.
Why?
The hood fit to the windshield is extremely unfinished. Is there another panel to be added here? Or is this NOT the final hood?
Even more telling, it looks like the EXACT SAME TRUNK as the current convertible. You're not telling me they're going to share body panels with a C5, are you? Also, the limited amount of camo in the rear gives very little room for something other than C5 styling there.
Agreed, interior doesn't look that exciting.
I don't know--if this is a true look at the C6, and Chevy wants to charge $4-5K more for it than the current one, I think I'll be looking elsewhere.

What is up with that interior? That doesnt look the same as those pics from the kid on ls1.com.. his pics of the car from above showed the dashboard had a very big curve to it.. it looked very curvy... this does not look curvy or the same as that one at all!.. The *** looks way to big still.... hmmm... there is camo on the hood as well the black parts... not sure what is going on with this one... doesnt look to impressive so far.
At first I thought the rear edge of the hood was just flat, but it appears that the corners are painted black to make it look straight. I love the roof line of the coupe, and the front fenders have a nice aggressive shape to them. I'm not liking the door handles at all, though.

As far as this particular vehicle goes I firmly believe that that C6 lies in what we Can't see. No way GM is dumb enough to allow the most secret project to be in the open without a counter of some sort. They expect people to snap the pics and if I was GM you know what I would do??? hide every detail even if it means concealing the skin with a modified C5. Sure there are detail of the c6 in there but I will bet you the next gen vette will be simply stunning.
About the interior: If that was the interior we would likely get I'm about 98 percent sure that GM would use deep tinted glass to make it difficult to get a glimpse of it. I remember someone last year getting to see the first mule with various notes on the steering wheel to the effect of "oil leak" or something. The person who spotted the car couldn't tell much of the interior, know why because GM won't be giving you an idea about it till later when it is unveiled. Lutz is the main man behind the interior guidelines and I'm SURE he hates the current one with all it's plastic fame.
My suspicion is that this is a mule ONLY to test the powertrain and the suspension and nothing more... ride quality etc... noises on the freeway (with average bumps in the road)
The interior is false and we will get a much better interior that has at least one common component from the SS concept.

It wasn't until I saw the second shot did I even realize that there is a difference between 5th and 6th gen. That low-long rear windshield looks nice. Overall I think the subtle changes approach is nice, and I can't wait to see the non-pop-up headlights. (That's right Darth!)

Hasn't anyone noticed that part of the rear of the car is connected to the glass and will come up with the glass when opened this will be much different from the C4 and C5 in which just the glass lifts up?
