The kicker of this is that it's $30,000A equals roughly $16,000 here.

Check out the HSV version of the One-toner

Also Holden will probably bring out a AWD UTE, considering they have the CROSS8 Concept.
Lastly the highrider Falcon UTE....are you sure it is AWD? I remember looking at it at the Melbourne Car Show and I don't remember seeing AWD in the specs. It did have the SUV style clearance and huge chunky tires though.

bah.. dont like the HSV version.
I'll go one of those holden 1 tonners, in the bare minimum 'S' pack trim which has the ls1, option it with a T56, what would that cost, 15K or so ??
throw on a monaro cold air setup, add a set of long tube headers, and twin 2.5" exhaust, a set of 3.9 ratios in the solid rear end, a tune up with Ls1 edit, and a nice set of slicks.
could see you knocking on the door of 12s... hopefully will be light.

the Hi-Ride one-tonner is RWD ATM. I guess it might go AWD sometime in the future but not right now. The Ford Territory will be the first ford aus AWD car, and if the local mags are correct then it will only have the 6cyl as the V8s are too big and don't fit with the AWD system. So at a guess that would mean that AWD + Ford Aus looks unlikely. Compared to Holden who are going to be available (AWD system) with V8 Auto only on release.
