I swear on everything holy, if GM turns the GTO into a 4 door, I will NEVER purchase another car made by them.

 

But you need 400 Horses to take the kids to school. Imagine the metal foot of a crazed mini-van mom in a SRT-8 Charger or a 4 Door 08' GTO.

 

Don't put much stock in GTO becoiming a 4 door unless a 4 door sedan accompanies the GTO coupe.

Pontac is still pretty devoted to haveing a RWD sports coupe in their lineup.

 

so is it safe to assume the gto has taken over the firebirds place in the pontiac line up? one more thing guion, has there been anymore than speculation that buick might get a derivitant of the gto?

 

Wasn't the Lemans the 4-door version of the platform that was the original GTO. I see this more as confirmation of a 4 door RWD coming to Pontiac as well.

AS a big fan of the current GTO (to th point of paying extra on th truck to free up cash sooner for either the GTO or a 5th gen) I sincerely hope that GM does not make the same mistake DCX made with the Charger. For any GM corporate types reading these boards, let me spell out the message.

4 Door GTO or GOD forbid Camaro = New Ford Devotee.

The last thing we need is Bob or Rick trying to convince us that it has "coupe like styling", one Trevor Creed is enough, thank you very much.

 

I hope that they leave the GTO as a two door coupe, four doors just wouldn't look right. The car is finally growing on me, and alot of them are popping up around the roads finally, since GM has to practically give them away. Heck, the Grand Prix has been reduced to a 4 door car already and they are popping 300 horse V8 motors in them w/ alot of aftermarket support on the way so what is the point of making the Goat a 4 door.

 

I just seriously doubt they make it a 4 door.

Is'nt the current one a sedan? I though it was a trunk car?

 

So when does the Canadian contract expire so GM can annouce the return of the Camaro?
