Mystery of the ugly A pilars on the C6...SOLVED
I think anyway.
Look at the ugly, angular A pilar on the C6 spy pix. My contention was that it looked out of place on a vette, which has generally pretty smooth contours. Now, go look at an A pilar from the XLR. What do you think??? Me thinks it's an XLR A pilar, and it might be that the targa doesn't match up right w/ it, and that those t-top looking tops might be something they fabbed up to fit in a pinch. I have no idea if I'm right, I have no idea why they'd go through the trouble, I have no idea if it's cammo or the real C6 deal. I just noticed they were exactly the same. Still looks ugly, and awfully un-aerodynamic for a car they seem to style in a wind tunnel in order to get their .cd numbers. We'll find out in about 5 months!
