Looks like a cross between a new Monte Carlo and a new Celica. Doesn't look much like a Camaro at all.

Nice looking car, but not a Camaro in my opinion.

eh.. I agree. Not a camaro. Looks more fit to be the new GTO.

 

Hate to tell the guys who just posted above me but the next Camaro could look very much like this according to the insiders over in the 5th gen section.

From what I understand the 5th gen has already gone through styling and its set in stone.

 

If it is set is stone then where is our gm insider with DEFINATE pics of te design?

I can vouch for that. I was an engineer for GM before I moved to a better job. It's not even a thought in your mind to divulge stuff like that. It is fun seeing cars a couple of years before they are out though. Too bad they normally have camo all over them. (big leather pads to hide the shape of the concept.)

The overall design might be completed or near complete, but I think alot can change from now until it comes out.

Ummm, yeah that one's mine. It looks to be making the rounds. In actuality it was originally only linked to from the Cheers and Gears forum. There are some Camaro insiders there who decided to drop some hints about the direction of the new Camaro and wanted to see what folks could come up with. Since there are common members here and there the links got propogated it seems.

For those who haven't seen the posts in other areas of the fifth gen thread, the drawing was heavily based (as in near carbon copy) on the SS concept with styling elements that were leaked by people who may have seen the actual car that is in the works.
