nothing today...something could be coming tomorrow, or it could've been a rumor that caught wings the whole time...a lot of the mustang boards are ticked off...

I must admit i feel a little cheated; checking for web updates every few mins...if i knew the truth before, i would have been getting some actual work done

those mustang sites are filled with chicken littles.an unofficial 3rd variant doesn't show up and you'd think it was the end of the world.sure it's dissapointing, but hell, most of those greedy people seemed to have forgotten that the first new mustang in 25 years was just unveiled last month.i'm still happy about that, anything else was just going to be extra.

You're bitching over here also. Man, what a coward.

First off, what right do you have to call people "chicken littles" a$shole.

There are a lot of people who passed up on Machs and Cobras that want a performance version with more than 300hp. The rumour that there would be a version debuting in Chicago had people very excited. What do you expect to happen when someone finds out that they were mislead??

I haven't met one person on the Ford boards that isn't extatic about the new car. But why should that stop them from anticipating a new variant to satisfy their needs?? And from being disappointed when it doesn't show up when expected??

Sure there are a few who go overboard, but most are good guys. This is why I don't like the fact that you make generalities and bash the whole group.

Show a little sympathy or at least keep your mouth shut. And don't go bitching about people on a Camaro board. Come over to BON etc. and let us know what you think, I insist.

Why would they need another variant, they have NO competition right now, true??
BUT, "ST" sounds too much like "Sport Truck" here in the States to be serious for a performance car...
Fords always used another "NAME" to designate cars like this, "Mach 1", "Cobra", "Boss" etc...why change??
Or dropped the GT part for slower Stangs..

I guarantee they won't be using the ST badge for a Mustang especially with all the famous past model names to draw on. Doesn't make any sense.
