also, i wish all the best of luck to Kris and Chris. BUT, considering what we've seen from Kris H. so far, I'm not convinced he's the right man for the job of designing a Camaro. not flaming at all. it's obvious he has tallent. i just personally don't like his style of, well style. but maybe i'm in the minority on that.

Woah Woah. Neither were hired. GM interviewed Mr. Horton not too long ago. I'm just saying GM would be stupid to not consider these two for a position in design.
They have NOT been hired by GM.
They have NOT been hired by GM.

I don't like this short overhang crap. Why do American car companies think they need to make their sports cars have no overhangs like trucks and SUVs? The current Italian sports cars and even most of the British ones retain substancial overhangs. I don't like any of the popular 5th gen designs...

Its sounding more and more like what someone told me back in 2002 when the 4th generation just ended production. "It will probably will be the end of the decade, or begining of the next before we see a new Camaro". I found it hard to believe back then, and now I thought lots of things have changed since then, but apparnetly not.

I mean, we've gone from one chassis to another and back to the first one in the last 12 months...

IMHO, if it becomes apparent you don't see a Camaro or a replacement till next decade, you'd better sell your GM stocks NOW, because I would think they would be in horrendous financial shape to cancel plugging a product hole like that, given the feedback from various dealers and public input.
