Mineral gray/red interior or Legend Lime/dark charcoal interior.....
Mineral gray/red interior or Legend Lime/dark charcoal interior.....
If I were going to get a Mustang GT today....it'd be one of those two color combos....with a 5 speed, spoiler delete and Bullitt wheels.

Ya, I checked the 05 Mustang over pretty good on paper before going for the GTO...
I determined I'd HAVE to have the red accented interior, but I liked the Dark Red exterior best... oddly enough, you can get them together, but I thought it would clash.
So, I probably would have ordered Silver, Mineral Grey , or Black with the Red accented interior if I went for the Mustang instead of the GTO....
For comparison, my GTO selections were narrowed to the Blue/Blue that I got, and Silver/Red. The blue interior scored big, because you just don't see that anywhere else, and I liked it alot.

I hate that lime color, it looks like this
If I got a GT is would NEED to have 18"s, I liked the Silver on grey strip package from the 2004 NAIAS

I was shopping for a C4 a while back, before the rugrat was in the picture; my two requirements were a 6spd and red "guts"

Even my SVT has a neat midnight blue leather interior...

I would say 18's minimum too, but i would easily dump them for a nice set of 19's or even 20's if i had a GT on hand.
I saw that Silver (Titanium actually) GT with the striping and the 18's last year. Easily the best color on the new mustangs i thought. Would be nice if that color and stripe was available as an option and not just limited to the show-car. Overall, that 18"-wheel/stripe/color combo on that GT made it look very striking.

That legend lime green color just needs to be seen on the right car before you appreciate it.
The other day on Northwest Highway in Dallas I passed two Stangs one was a 99-04 with some kind of bodykit and side exhausts and right behind it was a guy in a brand new legend lime 05 GT with black stripes and it looked lowered with bigger wheels. That thing was like pure sex and everybody was looking at it. If it had a spoiler delete or ducktail I would have gotten out my car run across the road and laid on the hood of that car.
