It's pretty amazing the information that ends up on this board.

cubic inches litres x 0.01639
so 6.0L = 366 c.i.
6.4L = 390.5 c.i.
5.3L = 323.4 c.i.
5.7L = 347.8 c.i.

Niiiiiiiice information. So the highest displacement was decided to be 6.4L and not 6.6L or 7.0L. Now I just want to know what cars those engines will go into!
TWIN TURBO V12??? What is THAT going to go into??? An Escalade? Make the worlds fastest and most powerful SUV by a LARGE margin??? I can really only see that engine going into a super sports car. Figure that it will produce 500hp in base form, add in 8# of turbo'ed boost and you're running 750-800hp. That's a little much for your average SUV.

Here's the complete list of RPO numbers

It would be worthwhile to look through this for other tidbits that it may hold.

Since the Gen IV V8s are an evolution of the GenIII do you guys think it will be an easy swap with an LS1? or do you think it will be more like the chachge over from the LT1 to the LS1? I'd love to get a 2002 SS and put a LS2 or LS7 in it
assuming I could get a create LS2 for just about the same price as an LS1, This would be something worth looking into.
